Objective

 

 

 

 

 

 

 main goal is to get my name out there in the public eye so not only am I a mentor for young adults with disabilities but I want to use my fame and legacy to create more opportunities to help all military veterans. I know what it is like to be less fortunate.  

Skills & other qualifications

  • I have a service dog, Barrett, which aids to my ability. He traveled with me when I spoke at the event, Embracing the Adaptive Spirit.  Our key demonstration was that Barrett folds laundry.
  • First Paralympian in the Paralympics with a Traumatic Brain Injury. Traumatic Brain Injury is not a classification but I was classified because my leg did not respond to my brain actions.  A usual classification in the Paralympics is spinal injuries.
